Now, I got off of Facebook because of the prolific censorship, and now I cannot post this interesting, informative interview?! Sure makes me wonder what the heck's going on!

Good evening. I’m Kim Reynolds, Governor of the great state of Iowa. Like you, I just watched the President’s address. I listened as the governor of our state, as a mom and grandmother of 11, who’s worried our country is on the wrong track.

  • American Juvelinity
    3/1/2022

Many Americans I’ve known seem to have a preoccupation with childhood. Now, I have nothing against childhood, but when it stretches into a prolonged state of mind, sometimes resulting in forty-year-old “children” living in mommy’s basement, there is a problem. And we seem to have a bumper crop of this problem. I call it American Juvelinity. I think I created that word today, but it is an adequate descriptor.
It is fairly common to hear someone complaining that we should “let children have their childhood”, which to my mind is somewhat of an oxymoron. If taken too far, it could lead to American moronic proliferation. Maybe we should call them politicians. It’s not meant to be funny, because politics was never meant to be a career, but now, thanks to juvelinity, we have a minority of them wagging the dog, and have for decades.
I work with a guy who is obsessed with video games. He is now approaching forty years old. He has no apparent knowledge of what used to be considered a working knowledge of American history, and even worse, doesn’t express any desire to learn it. American history, and the lessons we should have learned from it, have no place in his narrow little worldview. A physically big, powerful man, I’ve never met anyone so antithetical to the way he looks. Worse than all that, he boasts (no exaggeration) that he has preserved within himself the “mind of a child.” That makes me shiver. He told me his size intimidates everyone, and I told him he didn’t intimidate me because he was “too big to miss.” We haven’t discussed his size since.
I want to caveat what I’ve said here by saying that I really like the guy, and I know he has a real heart for little kids, but my point is made that right now in American history, we don’t need childish minds, we need adult minds, and tough ones at that. We need adult minds who can make deadly serious decisions and stick to them with biblical tenacity. We already have far too many “children” in this country, and I think that’s certainly to blame in large part for our incredible corporate ability to morally vacillate. In fact, just finding basic honesty in our adult citizens seems difficult. I know pastors who apparently think it’s expedient (‘for the greater good’) to use a ‘little white lie’ now and again, to preserve the sanctity of their ministry. What could be wrong with that?!
All of this wouldn’t be so critical if the rest of the world’s population was like ours in contemporary America, but with a few exceptions, barring the extra “woke” populations scattered across the world, other countries see populations like ours as fruit for the picking – and they would be right.
Maybe we need to implement the draft again, for men only; we’re already loaded to the gills with strong women. Well, someone needs to fill the vacuum! Maybe our young men need to be forced to face the possibility of their own demise early in their lives, just so they learn to value life. Perhaps they would be more willing to learn lessons from those who have gone before, rather than let Hollywood feed them a fictional diet of hero-baloney. Leaders learn to lead…but from whom?
The old mantra, “America, land of the free; home of the brave” seems outdated now, post Obama, post Biden. Perhaps now it would be more accurate to say, “America, land of the masks; home of the befuddled”.
If we don’t get real men back in vogue, America will indeed be ripe for the picking, and the harvesters are already awaiting their orders.

  • This was written by a friend of mine, Nathan Vierra, this morning. He still posts to Facebook:
A person who is born of the spirit of God is given a new citizenship in the kingdom of Heaven.
There are some pretty prophetic people who have been saying things that I really liked the sound of, but I found it necessary to pull myself away from anything to do with prophesy. In this time, the Lord has been speaking to me very clearly.
Yesterday, a video link of a prophesy was sent to me, and I felt the fear of the Lord on it as soon as I saw it, so I listened. One of the things that it addressed in me was the answer to why I felt the necessity to pull away from the prophesies of some of the most trusted prophetic voices in the world right now.
Being seated in heavenly places, we are not confined to the citizenship & borders of the nation that we reside in. What I realized was that everything I was hearing was coming from the position of the American church, the American government, and American citizenship.
I know that American prophesy was clogging my spirit. My spirit is not American. It’s Kingdom. And while I love America, I want to know what the Lord is speaking to His Church. What’s taking place in His body? What is He planning for His body? None of these things have to do with American politics. None of them have to do with Russia or China or Trump. While those prophesies may have been conceived in heavenly places, I can’t help but think that they weren’t carried to full term and delivered from heavenly places.
Last night in church, we sang a song that says, “Open the floodgates of Heaven.”
I was prompted to get up and speak of those floodgates — the ones who are born of the Spirit of God. I was reminded of the Tijuana River, a river that used to be a clean, fresh water river that flows into the Pacific Ocean. When I saw it several years ago, it was flowing with human waste. Sometimes, the Lord keeps his floodgates closed because we’re so full of waste that we’d be toxic to our environment if our ministry, or prayer, or prophesy was released. When it comes to anything spiritual — prayer, worship, ministry, prophesy, etc... if it’s not conceived, matured and born of the spirit, it’s not pure, and the Lord does not want those floodgates opened. Church, we can’t operate out of our own understanding and ambition. If our ministry is not conceived, formed, and birthed in heavenly places, it’s contaminated with human waste and not fit for consumption.

    2/23/2022

In these post-plandemic times, one of my most prevalent emotions is a vague sense of confusion. As I read the daily plethora of headlines from the alt-media platforms, I am getting more and more disgusted by the lack of any real content, and the substitution of such by emotive garbage. In short, I am fed up with being told how ‘fed up’ I should feel.
It is not too difficult to find and express what is wrong with our world; that door began to open for all to see several years ago, and it’s a door that will not be closed again. What we saw, and are seeing now, simply cannot be unseen. The problem, and the elephant in the room, is what are we to do about it?
Several years ago, I began following several Christian prophets, all the while praying that God would bring forth the prophets He had reserved for these times. As I listened to what was being prophesied, I kept in mind that every prophetic utterance is subject to the prophet. There are, as we should always keep in mind, three possible origins of the prophetic word: (1) The prophet’s human spirit; (2) The satanic spirit; and (3) The Spirit of God. And I suppose we can also hear mixed messages. A pastor friend of mine told me how to tell if a prophet was speaking from the Spirit of God: look in the rearview mirror and see if it came true.
Speaking of the prophecies that originate from the human spirit, there are many prophecies that are mere predictions rather than the Word of the Lord. I think most folks can look at any set of circumstances and make some reasonable, educated guesses where things will end up if the present course is kept. Many of these predictions are very easy to put forth as if they are indeed, divinely inspired. For instance, it takes no true prophetic mantel to predict that if America is taken over by globalists, many current citizens will perish in some form of concentration camp. That’s not prophetic, rather a reasonable guess based on 20th century history. But anyone with the nerve to do so could easily stand up in a Christian gathering and shout out, “Thus says the Lord…” and utter such a prediction. And it is shocking indeed how gullible well-meaning Christians can be.
My point is, we need to be careful about how invested we get in the current crop of prophets. Some are, to be sure, true prophets sent by God to utter His words to His people, but at the same time, regardless of how “spiritual” the prophet may seem, there will be some who are merely echo chambers, and there will be others who are speaking from a wrong spirit. We can afford to be hesitant much more than we can afford to be wrong. It’s very much the same reason we look both ways before stepping into the street.
To be candid, I am put off by the prophecies that come out almost every month to the tune of, “Next month will be explosive, just hang on…” That particular prophecy has been put forth nearly every month since early 2020. It reminds me of the stopped clock: it’s always right twice a day. My ex-father-in-law always predicted the stock market would crash, and you know, eventually he was right! This particular “next month” prophecy always makes me think of a carrot on a stick in front of a donkey. It only buys time for the guy with the carrot, while it only wastes time for the donkey, and either way, the donkey is kept under control. I’ve always wondered what would happen if the donkey just began to run without regard to the carrot?
Americans are spoiled. That’s a fact, and most of the rest of the world has always known it. We have been spoiled because somewhere, somehow, we lost sight of the fact that freedom once gained, must be fought for to keep. We just took it for granted and became a spoiled, rich by most worldly standards, society, and always figured things would just keep on keeping on. But a cheap dog-and-pony show of a plandemic brought us to our knees in record time. I have never seen, and still see today, so many chronically fearful people as I see around me in America, and Christians, those who specifically should know better, have been some of the most fearful. Frankly, I am ashamed and embarrassed. A frightening aspect of this tendency to be made fearful and remain so, aside from the real scientific facts that are pushed aside by all the propaganda we listen to, is the effect we have yet to see on the upcoming generation who will be adults (in name only) in the next five or ten years.
For me, it’s all come down to this: our only cogent hope for the future of this country is Jesus Christ – the real Jesus, not the half-dopey one of the movies. If each of us seeks to find and to intimately know Him, there could be a bright future for America, but if that doesn’t happen our population could very well evolve into two groups: those that seek to know and to do God’s will for the good of all, and those who would rather ingest the opium of the tantalizing carrot.
With that in mind, if I were a betting man….I wouldn’t.

We are closing in on 60 years since the assassination of John F. Kennedy in Dallas, and in that time, there have been endless independent investigations disputing, or occasionally endorsing, the conclusions of the Warren Commission.  I...

    REF: Genesis 22:12

A friend of mine has grandchildren in Canada. Under normal circumstances, this would be no big deal, but to cross the border into Canada my friend would have to be vaccinated. We’ve talked about vaccinations often, and he fully understood that the covid vaccines are not really vaccines at all, and they pose a significant, life-long risk for those getting them. With that in mind, my friend got vaccinated recently just so he could visit his grandchildren. Several weeks ago, his family in Canada visited my him in the states, and they are all fully vaccinated, something they had to do to cross into this country from Canada. As he was telling me this bad news, he told me he had prayed that the shot would not affect him, as it was being administered. His news plunged me into a sort of mourning I did not expect, and now I feel like another friend is lost to me.
This morning, as I was listening to our devotionals, I suddenly realized why I had been feeling so mournful. With no lead-in, I pictured Abraham and Isaac on the mountain of sacrifice in Genesis 22, and how the entire ordeal had been a test, and I realized my friend’s decision to get vaccinated had caused him to fail the exact, same test in our current time. And this came to me: “If we want to have God put us first, we must always put God first.” Quite simple, really, but that attitude opens and activates all of God’s promises to us, and without it, I believe we limit the success we realize in obtaining their fulfillment in our lives.
I thought of Abraham and Isaac, Solomon and his foreign wives, David and Bathsheba, and covid, and then I remembered Luke 9:62, where the Bible quotes Jesus: “No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Abraham passed the test; he did not put his (only) son before God. Solomon began well but ended poorly because he failed the test and put his wives and their gods first before God, and David put Bathsheba first, and suffered for it the rest of his life, even though he himself, was forgiven. And in ways I won’t go into now, I’ve also failed the test many years ago, and will pay for it for the rest of my days, even though I know God has forgiven me.
The Israelites put many gods before God in the desert, and the whole adult generation that left Egypt later entered the promised land with but two remaining people of that entire generation, and it was strictly because they, out of all the others, had not failed the test. They had not ceased to place God first, and because of that, He fulfilled His promise to them concerning the land they were to inherit.
Covid was, and is, a test for God’s people, and frankly, I believe most of them will fail the test. They have not been adequately prepared for the tests they are facing, and while perhaps many will ultimately get to heaven, they may well enter it impoverished.
As we read Psalm 91, the conditions we must meet to activate the promises that follow are quite clearly set forth in the first verse: ‘He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.’ And I would mention the obverse: He who does NOT dwell in the shelter of the Most High will NOT be under His shadow.
As this life-giving psalm nears its ending, it quotes God Himself: “Because he holds fast to Me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows My name. When he calls to Me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and (I will) honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and (I will) show him My Salvation.” [ESV]
These are the fabulous ‘I wills’ of God, and if we are to reasonably expect Him to deliver on these promises, we absolutely must place nothing before Him, not children, not friends, not reputation, not anything or anybody. God MUST come first, no matter what the circumstances are.
My friend put his need to see his grandchildren before God, and he justified it to himself, and to me. It would seem the island of land the Remnant is standing on is shrinking by the day, and I confess, I never before realized I would live long enough to see even the Remnant shrinking.
This is all a test. The unsaved have failed it already, but now the “church” is being culled by the Spirit of God. If we want to see God’s best, we must not fail to give Him our best. It’s not complicated…just difficult.

With long life I will satisfy him and (I will) show him My Salvation.” [ESV] These are the fabulous ‘I wills’ of God, and if we are to reasonably expect Him to deliver on these promises, we absolutely must place nothing before Him, not children, not friends, not reputation, not anything or anybody. John

  • I was recently offended to read more headlines about what Harry & Megan think. First, why should these elite, non-contributors even have the ability to generate headlines that other, non-thinkers read? Especially in America..? So, I'm beginning to wonder if we really won the Revolutionary War.
Harry & Megan need to get out of America and go back to Great Britain, where so many still fawn at the feet of "royalty".

  • The Heart of the Matter
    1/19/2022

Last night, as my wife and I were reading Philippians, chapter 3 together, we ran across the following verse:

that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death [Phl 3:10 NKJV]

My wife’s bible is a good study bible, and last night I ran across a study note written by Jack Hayford pertaining to Philippians 3:10. One simple sentence in the note, buried in the middle of the text, said, ‘Paul was a lover of God; not a user of God.’
Isn’t it odd how some seemingly simple things come to have a significant impact on us? The study note had many more sentences, yet this one resonated within me, and dropped like a seed in my brain. The more time went on, the more distracted I was by how that one simple statement gained on me! I could not stop thinking about it. I even woke up in the middle of the night thinking about it, and I am again this afternoon.
Paul was indeed a ‘lover of God’, but how does that contrast with being a ‘user of God’? And more to the point, which one am I? Those questions dovetail neatly into what I was praying the other night when I asked God to reveal to me by revelation, what the name of Jesus meant to Him. I realized that He might want me to know His heart on the matter. And so, two nights later, up pops the study note by Jack Hayford. I would guess God is answering my prayer.
Even though most “good” Christians would profess to love God, I think we’ve all used Him a time or two. When we use something or someone, we “consume” them like we would by using a commodity. We consume food until it is all gone, and in the same way, we tend to consume God by using His Holy name to get what we want.
We see others use God to build their own kingdoms, called more politely, “ministries”. Did Jesus teach us to use our spiritual calories to build our own little spiritual kingdoms/ministries? They are not necessarily one and the same, but we often think they are, and we aren’t good at differentiating between them when we talk, preach or write.
It is common for people to refer to the church buildings we see all over town, as The Church – the one that has Jesus as it’s head. Those two are not the same, but we usually don’t think of them as different. In fact, many, I dare say most, so-called “churches” are no more than religious businesses. Doubt it? Work in the church office for a few months and the revelation will open your eyes.
But what if most Christians truly became primarily, lovers of God? I mean, ‘lovers’ in the same sense as human lovers? I think we would still see plenty of church buildings, but the underlying foundation of the business carried on in those institutions would probably be quite different from the average, religious business models so prevalent today.
When people are in love with another person, their worlds tend to revolve around that person, but I suppose that brings up the confusion we seem to have with love and lust. One is love, the other is usefulness. I think we are confused about many things.
The entire religious spectrum would have to dramatically change if professing Christians fell head over heels in love with God. That much is obvious, but the difficulty lies in doing it, for only God can bring about that kind of miracle in human hearts. We can be willing, and we should ask for it from Him, but I don’t believe we have any ability to make it happen out of our own will.
We have to first make the choice to become lovers of God, then trust Him to answer our prayers and change our hearts. And I believe, in this regard, we will have from Him what we ask, for I have no doubt it is His will.
Thank you Pastor Hayford, for your simple observation, and thank you, Jesus, but smacking my heart with it!
