Newspaper and TV news NOS: Pricked people can pass on virus as easily as unpricked people
a study by Oxford University has shown that Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines offer much less protection against the 'delta variant' of the coronavirus three months after the last shot. After three months, the effectiveness of the AstraZeneca vaccine drops to 61 percent and that of Pfizer to 75 percent. They are thus much less effective than advertised.
In vaccinated people over 35 the effectiveness decreases faster than in younger people, according to the scientists. They also say that vaccinated people can probably pass on the virus unvaccinated people.

BOEDAPEST - Lewis Hamilton clearly does not want to say too much about the incident with Max Verstappen at Silverstone. The seven-time world champion does state that he did not know the Dutchman was in hospital at the moment he was celebrating his victory in front of his own
Verstappen called it disrespectful that Hamilton was so out of control after his victory. The Briton tapped the Dutchman off the track on the first lap and was given a ten-second time penalty, but still won the Grand Prix in front of his home crowd.
"But I think enough has been said about it by now," said Hamilton, who a little later went into more detail. "I was not aware that Max was in hospital. The only thing I knew was that he was OK and out of the car. None of us want another driver to get injured."
Hamilton said he was unaware that he was cheering excessively. "In terms of the action on the track, I don't think I would do anything different in the future. I've watched it back and analysed it. And about the cheering: it's a difference whether you know someone is in hospital or not. This was my home race and it was great to see so many fans in the stands again. It was just emotion released."
